Live Peace brings together 10 Nobel Peace Prize laureates and more than 80
events worldwide for the 2026 International Day of Peace.
As the world marks the International Day of Peace on 21 September, celebrated
annually under the auspices of the United Nations, Live Peace, in collaboration with 10 Nobel Peace Prize laureates is bringing together cities, artists, organizations and civil society actors from around the world around one simple but essential message: WE WANT PEACE.
Driven by the conviction that peace is one of the most important challenges of our time, that music is one of the most powerful tools for bringing people closer
together, and that citizens have always been the ones to initiate society’s most
important changes, Live Peace has been building an international movement that brings together concerts, citizen initiatives, encounters and awareness-raising activities.
Supported by committed artists, institutional partners and several internationally recognized personalities known for their commitment to peace, the movement pursues a clear objective: to mobilize citizens through music and to demand peace from their governments and get attention through the strengths of their number.
Following a flagship concert in Annecy, France, and 50 supported events worldwide in 2025, the 2026 edition marks another important milestone. From 1 to 30 September, more than 80 events organized by Live Peace and its partners around the world on all continents – Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Australia, will take place and be part of the movement. This will include renowned places like the Nobel Peace Centre and the City of Oslo, and well established events like Peace Day Chicago, Peace Day Japan and Earthdance. These events will take place and be part of the movement, alongside a major gathering in Annecy, France,featuring nationally renowned artists and an expected 8,000–9,000 visitors.

But Live Peace is about more than building an ever-growing movement for peace through music and art. It seeks to encourage dialogue, foster mutual
understanding, and remind everyone that every citizen can become an active
participant in building a more peaceful world.

Live Peace is an international movement, founded 2022 in France, using music, art, citizen initiatives and public events to unite people around the world through a shared message of peace – WE WANT PEACE. Live Peace aims to grow into a powerful global movement, driven by people who believe that peace is possible and who are willing to raise their voices together for it. The long-term vision is to create a worldwide platform where cities, artists, organizations and communities come together in hundreds – and ultimately thousands – of smaller events alongside large international concerts organized by Live Peace around the world -to call for peace and to encourage decision-makers around the world to make peace and dialogue a priority. Live Peace 2027
In September 2027 Live Peace intends to hold it‘s first major live event, bringing together international stars and an audience of between 15.000 and 30.000 people. The flagship event will form part of a global programme of around 300 events organized by cities, organisations and partners around the world all united by a shared call for peace.
