Join the War Resisters’ International’s course from January to March for our Disarming the Climate Crisis training programme! It will be joined by activists, researchers, and organisers from around the world who will share their experience and knowledge of taking action at the intersection of militarism and the climate crisis.
This online training programme will be an opportunity to extend your knowledge and understanding of the relationship between militarism and the climate crisis, increase your confidence in taking action on these complex issues, and contribute to building solidarity networks internationally.
Over eight participatory sessions, it will:
- Deepen our knowledge of the way war and militarism are contributing to the climate crisis,
- Build a deeper collective understanding of the relationship between demilitarisation and a just transition
- Explore strategies for centring our movements’ campaigns around climate justice and antimilitarism
Some of the sessions will include external speakers and experts in various fields.
