Cyrille Rolande Bechon – Board Member

Cyrille Rolande Bechon has been elected as an IPB board member in 2025 and is a former IPB council member (2022-2025).

She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and the Rule of Law and is a PhD student in the field of law. She has been working at NDH-Cameroon since 2003, and thus has a total of about 15 years of experience in the field of human rights. Furthermore, Cyrille is a specialist in transitional justice and conflict transformation, a consultant, trainer and activist in human rights issues.

Binalakshmi Nepram – Board Member

Binalakshmi “Bina” Nepram born in Manipur Nation currently located in India’s Northeast region next to Myanmar is an indigenous scholar, published author and civil rights activist spearheading work on making women-led peace, and disarmament meaningful to our lives. She is an author of five books, her two most recent being “Where are our Women in Decision Making on UNSCR 1325” (2016) & “Deepening Democracy, Diversity, Racial and Gender Violence in India” (2019). She currently serves her second term as board member of the IPB.

Ernest Gibson Kpordotsi – Board Member

Ernest Gibson Kpordotsi was elected a board member in 2022 and has been re-elected for a second term in 2025.

He is currently the co-founder and Director of Programs and Projects at the Bureau of African Peace in Ghana. Before that, he was the Yes Abroad Programs Coordinator at the Intercultural Exchange Program as well as Director of Operations at the Ghana United Nations Association.

Angelo Cardona – Board Member

Angelo Cardona was elected a board member in 2022 and has been re-elected for a second term in 2025. Formerly, he was a council member from 2019 to 2022.. He is a peace and disarmament activist. He is considered one of the leading figures of pacifism in Colombia for his fight for the implementation of the Peace Agreement signed by the guerrilla FARC and the government of Colombia in 2016.
