Michelle Clemente joins the IPB team since May 2023.
Michelle Clemente is an international development and peacebuilding professional with over 10 years of experience in programme and project management, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and international cooperation. She specializes in translating ideas, policies, and development priorities into practical, inclusive, and impactful programmes that strengthen communities and build sustainable partnerships.
Her work spans the development and implementation of large-scale programmes in collaboration with government institutions, international organizations, donors, civil society, and local communities. Her experience includes the development of World Bank-financed national projects, international programme coordination, training and curriculum development, policy and programme design, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
Michelle holds Master’s degrees in Peace Education and Political Science, with a specialization in Global Politics. Currently based in Berlin, she brings professional experience from Germany, the Philippines, and international contexts. She combines strong programme management expertise with specialized knowledge in peacebuilding, education, community development, and capacity building, with a particular strength in bringing diverse stakeholders together to develop and implement meaningful solutions.
