The Peace Manifesto 2025

Twenty-five years ago, UNESCO initiated the Manifesto 2000 for a Culture of Peace and NonViolence. It was signed by 75 million people around the world in support of six commitments to the culture of peace.

Today, as global crises persist and intensify—from war and militarization to climate change and inequality—the Peace Manifesto 2025 calls for a renewed and unified effort to build a culture of peace.

This renewed Peace Manifesto is the result of global collaboration among educators, peace activists, and civil society organizations. It emphasizes the importance of nonviolence, human rights, sustainable development, gender equality, intercultural dialogue, and democratic participation.

The IPB is humbled to be a partner organization supporting the dissemination of the Peace Manifesto 2025. As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting peace and justice, IPB has shared the Manifesto on its social media platforms and network to amplify its message and encourage wider engagement.

Peace Manifesto 2025

‘We are sick and tired of the culture of war, so we give our support to the culture of peace, and we will keep spreading the word on social media until we win. We live in Berlin, Germany.’
