Subject: Urgent Call for Unity and Action for the Betterment of Liberia

Dear Respected Leaders,

We, the undersigned, represent different parts of civil society and are reaching out to you as leaders of the Reform and Loyalist Blocs in the Liberia House of Representatives. We recognize the important roles both blocs have in shaping our nation’s future and appreciate your commitment to serving the public. However, we feel it is time for stronger unity and decisive action to tackle the urgent issues the country faces.

Liberia is at a crucial point, where the challenges of economic recovery, governance, peacebuilding, and social unity require cooperation from all political leaders. It is essential for the Reform and Loyalist Blocs to set aside party differences and work together. The people of Liberia expect their elected officials to join forces in pursuit of common goals that will lead to lasting development and national unity.

We encourage both the Majority and Minority Blocs to focus on the following important areas:

1. Economic Development: Create policies that encourage job growth, improve infrastructure, and attract investments to strengthen Liberia’s economy.

2. Education and Healthcare: Improve the education system and healthcare services so that every Liberian can access quality education and medical care.

3. Anti-Corruption Measures: Increase transparency and accountability in government to rebuild public trust and ensure that public resources are used wisely for everyone’s benefit.

4. Peace and Security: Keep working to strengthen peace and security by tackling the root causes of conflicts. Make sure everyone can live in a safe and stable environment.

5. Youth Empowerment: Put money into programs that give young people, who represent the future of our country, chances for education, jobs, and community involvement.

We urge you, as leaders of the Reform and Loyalist Blocs, to participate in meaningful discussions and work together on laws that tackle these important issues. The future of Liberia relies on your ability to put aside differences and focus on what is best for the country.

We are ready to support and work with you in these efforts and look forward to seeing positive changes in the coming months.

Thank you for paying attention to this matter and for your ongoing dedication to serving the people of Liberia.

Sincerely,

Sean Conner
