About the Dialogue
The purpose of this online dialogue is to bring together movements with a multi-issue agenda to discuss strategies for alliance building and addressing the challenges we face in rural and urban communities and at the global level. The dialogue takes place ahead of the World Social Forum (WSF) in Benin, 4–8 August 2026.

The World Social Assembly of Struggles and Resistances (WSA) – a permanent movement network within the global World Social Forum family – invites both organizations that will be present at the WSF and other movements that may not attend, but whom we hope are interested in continued cooperation. Together we aim to build alliances for resistance and constructive solutions to the present social and ecological crisis, as well as the urgent need to stop militarisation.
