LKGCB is committed to promoting global peace, non-violence, and intercultural harmony through the universal teachings of Lord Buddha. Based in Belgium, LKGCB advocates for Lumbini-the birthplace of Buddha—as a World Peace City and a beacon of compassion and coexistence.
LKGCB actively supports international efforts toward nuclear disarmament, recognizing the urgent need to eliminate weapons of mass destruction to ensure a peaceful and secure future for all. The organization aligns with the principles of the International Peace Bureau in calling for global cooperation, dialogue, and disarmament as essential steps toward sustainable peace.
Through partnerships with various institutions such as UNESCO, the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and peace movements across Europe and Asia, LKGCB organizes conferences, cultural exchanges, and advocacy campaigns that promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mental well-being, and non-violent conflict resolution.

Action for Peace (Agir pour la Paix)

The organization is a group which consist of 500 individual members. It has been created by the conscientious object to military service movement. They had the status for objectors in 1964. They protested against missiles in 1980s. They concentrate on lobbying in Brussels, NATO policy, Nuke, Military public spending. They are the member of IFOR and WRI.
