Description of Activity: On September 21, I will organize a physical youth gathering in Alexandria to celebrate the International Day of Peace. The event will include a discussion on peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, and the role of youth in creating a more peaceful society. Participants will share personal messages of peace, and we will also hold a symbolic activity such as a peace circle or planting a tree to represent hope and unity.

As an active member of IPB, I am highly motivated to promote peace at all levels. I would greatly appreciate financial support to organize and expand peace activities in my community and beyond. In addition, I am very interested in opportunities to participate in fully funded international conferences, workshops, and trainings, in order to strengthen my skills and connect with other peacebuilders worldwide. I am committed to spreading the values of peace, dialogue, and solidarity wherever possible.

une introduction pédagogique sur le thème ;
un témoignage inspirant d’acteur de paix ;
un exemple concret d’initiative réussie au Tchad ou dans la région.
Diffusion via plateformes numériques (Spotify, Anchor, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.) et réseaux sociaux de SPI.
Lancement officiel du podcast lors du Gala de clôture le 20 septembre 2025, avec diffusion d’un épisode pilote devant le public et les partenaires.

To commemorate International Peace Day 2025, Peace1stEthiopia, in partnership with the African Peace and Development Network, will organize a high-level seminar to mobilize African and international stakeholders toward peace, unity, and sustainable development. The seminar is firmly anchored in the African Union’s Agenda 2063, particularly Aspiration 4: A Peaceful and
Secure Africa and Aspiration 1: A Prosperous Africa based on Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development. It also supports the global Sustainable Development Goals, notably SDG 16 (Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development) and SDG 17 (Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development).

Description of Activity: On the International Day of Peace, ASRAD will organize a community event combining environmental action and peace education. The program will include tree planting sessions, youth-led discussions on the culture of peace, music and cultural performances promoting unity, and awareness workshops on human rights and environmental protection.

This initiative builds on ASRAD’s ongoing “One Student, One Tree” campaign and youth peacebuilding activities. It will bring together students, community leaders, women’s associations, and local authorities to strengthen social cohesion and promote environmental stewardship as a pathway to lasting peace.
