Formed in October 2023 by a small group of academics who felt the need to highlight the lack of a clear peace agenda under the administration of Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., especially in light of the derailment of the formal peace negotiations between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP). The group advocates for resuming the GRP-NDFP talks by organizing academic activities to generate support, especially among students and teachers.
