A worship group for Ottawa Quakers was formed in 1954. This group became a more formally recognized entity called a “Monthly Meeting” in 1958.
Ottawa Quakers have always had a Peace and Social Concerns Committee and the number of people serving varies from 4 to 8. They bring concerns to the Business Meeting of Ottawa Quakers for discernment.
