Date and Time: 21-Sep, 10:00 am local time
Location: Hiroshima University Higashi-Senda Campus, Senda Lab and online.
Description of Activity: Eighty years have passed since the end of the war, and yet, international tensions and armed conflicts persist, affecting the peace situation both inside and outside Japan.
Amid this, we are once again asking ourselves what we have learned from peace education thus far and how we should proceed in the future.
This symposium invites researchers from five countries who are committed to peace education research and practice, including Professor Toshifumi Murakami from Japan, to share diverse approaches to peace education and engage in international dialogue aimed at its future systematization.
We look forward to the participation of many people who are interested in peace education. Further details about the symposium are on their website below.
