This coming February 25th, we invite you to participate in this webinar “Webinar: Latin America and the Caribbean, Peace Under Threat”.

Context: The illegal and provocative actions of the United States against Venezuela, both military and economic, constitute a serious threat to peace in the Americas and are representative of the new era of US imperialism on the continent, as recently evidenced in the National Security Strategy. The bombings carried out against Venezuela on January 3, as well as the kidnapping of the President of the Republic, are a clear example that the US has completely broken the international order.

The United States continues to prepare the ground for confrontation and war, not only against Venezuela, but against all perceived threats to its dominance, resources, influence, and subjugation, most recently Cuba. Social and grassroots movements and voices advocating for peace and justice must speak out immediately and forcefully against these actions, put pressure on the Trump regime, and demonstrate international solidarity with Venezuela, Cuba, and all of Latin America.

In this webinar, we will expose the propaganda and lies spread by the Trump regime, share ideas and messages of global solidarity, and share alternative visions for international relations based on peace, human dignity, and common security.
