Israel’s settler colonial expansion, the current military campaign in Gaza, and the broader policies of ethnic cleansing and resistance suppression have led to an expanded regional conflict, now including direct confrontation with Iran. Backed and financed by the United States, these actions follow previous interventions in Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq. At the core of these policies are geopolitical control over oil and regional dominance, alongside Israel’s drive to displace or eliminate the Palestinian people.
This webinar will examine the state of war, occupation, and systemic violence across the region and highlight various forms of resistance. It will also explore how global support and alliances shape these dynamics and suppress peace movements.
