METO’s side event at the 2023 MSP TPNW will be an opportunity to report on the latest developments to advance the prospects for a Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone in the Middle East (WMDFZ), its linkages with the TPNW and global campaign for eradicating nuclear weapons. The discussion will also explore what could a positive outcome look like at the MSP, and how different parties might contribute to this through cooperative and inclusive approaches.
