Event Description:
As part of the weekend of events against the NATO Summit, the international No to NATO – No to War Network warmly invites all interested individuals, peace activists, and civil society organizations to attend an open meeting on Sunday, 22 June. The session will take place in the morning, following the counter-summit on Saturday and prior to the demonstration on Sunday afternoon.
This meeting will provide a valuable opportunity for the international peace movement to come together, share information, discuss current developments, and coordinate further joint actions.
The international network has been actively involved in all protest actions against NATO since 2009 and intends to continue this work in the future. It remains determined to confront the current challenges of war and preparations for war, and to campaign more vigorously for peace, against the threat of nuclear war, and for disarmament. From the network’s perspective, overcoming NATO is a central necessity.
The network would like to explore how to continue its efforts, identify which future actions are meaningful, and find ways to strengthen cooperation and connections. It would therefore be delighted if you would take part in its open meeting on 22nd June.
