Event Description:
The 3rd Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) will take place at a critical moment, with the Doomsday Clock set to 89 seconds to midnight. As global nuclear threats intensify, particularly regarding Ukraine and Taiwan, nuclear weapons states are continuing to modernize their arsenals. This event comes just after the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations.

This forum, organized by:

  • International Peace Bureau (IPB)
  • Campaign for Peace, Disarmament and Common Security
  • Peace Action New York State

will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers from various global organizations working toward nuclear disarmament.
