The Program on Alternative Development is one of the Research Programs of CIDS, the policy research unit of the University of the Philippines. AltDev aims to look at paradigms, policies, practices, and projects that are largely marginalized and excluded from the mainstream.
With over 300 member organizations across 70 countries, the International Peace Bureau (IPB) unites experts, activists, and advocates in a shared mission: promoting disarmament for sustainable development and redirecting military expenditures toward social progress and environmental protection. Founded in 1891, the IPB is one of the world’s oldest peace federations.
Stop the War Coalition Philippines is a multisectoral coalition of Philippines-based social movements, people’s organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other formations that oppose the wars of aggression, the escalating threats of militarization, manifestations of military intervention, and any form of Philippine participation in these activities.
