The international system is in transition as the economic and social power of the US-led collective West faces the rise of other states like China and others from Asia, with significant economic and military power. Multilateral regional alliances like the BRICS, SCO, and ASEAN present a different non-militarist path distinct from NATO. At the same time, the US and its allies carry out a genocide in Gaza and seek to restructure West Asia, destabilize several countries of the Global South.
At the same time, people face a poly-crisis of deepening inequality, climate change, ecological setbacks, and  identity conflicts. In these circumstances, the US is seeking to stage a comeback as the dominant hegemon through aggressive imperialism. People worldwide have demonstrated that they stand by the besieged people of Palestine and oppose imperial policies. How should the people’s movements of Asia, Latin America, and Europe view these events? This webinar will both unpack as well as connect the dots to analyze these trends.
