PEACEMOMO specializes in teacher training and training of trainers on critical and creative peace education training through P.E.A.C.E. Pedagogy, which anchors on the central principle of “everyone learning from everyone else.” PEACEMOMO especially works to foster peace education facilitators through its own ToT (Training of Trainers) programmes designed for school teachers and civic educators, as a way of expanding peace education in schools and civil society alike. PEACEMOMO aims to connect peace activism to education in order to nurture culture of peace which allow space for citizens to learn from each other and get sensitized for peace.

Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea / 평통사 (SPARK)
Established in 1994 during the height of the first North Korean nuclear crisis, when the Korean Peninsula was on the brink of nuclear war. At this critical time, religious figures, intellectuals, and peace activists, who had long been advocating for peace and reunification, united to form a movement. The urgency to prevent nuclear war and promote peace during these tensions led to the birth of SPARK.
